While hitchhiking and camping with her sister Rosie in Bulgaria in summer 1967, Bridget collected rare imagery of those Communist times: Dancing townspeople at the Lenin festival in Varna; a collective farm in Elhovo with its target of 40,000 pigs by 1970; and village scenes in the sunshine.
